The review link you can send in a text

A review link is the address that opens your review page with nothing in the way. Paste your listing below and this builds it, or follow the manual route underneath if you would rather do it by hand.

No account, no email address, no watermark. The link is yours to paste anywhere you already talk to customers.

Build it

Drop in the address of your business page on Google, Yelp or TripAdvisor. We read the listing, work out the review destination and hand it back ready to copy.

Your business page link

Nothing here is walled, and the manual route is short enough to write down. Use it if you would rather not paste anything.

  1. Take the link from your own profile.

Open your Business Profile, choose Read reviews and then Get more reviews, and press Copy to take the link. Google generates that code in a computer browser only, so a phone will not show you the download.

  2. Send it where the conversation already is.

A follow-up text an hour after the job, the last line of an invoice, the receipt email your till already sends. The best moment is the one where the customer is still thinking about you.

  3. Shorten it only if you have to.

A shortener hides the destination, and a stranger deciding whether to tap has less to go on. If you do need a shorter address, say in the message itself where the link leads.

Printing the link rather than sending it? The QR guide covers the counter version, including the three step manual method. Read the Google review QR code guide.

If the link is going on something physical instead, the sign maker lays it out as a printable sheet with the platform named above the code. Open the scan to review sign maker.

The five that come up most, answered without a sales pitch attached.

Is this link generator really free?

Yes. Paste a listing, copy the link, close the tab. There is no account, no email capture and no limit worth mentioning on an ordinary day.

Does the link work for Yelp and TripAdvisor too?

It does, with one difference worth knowing. A Yelp paste comes back as the address for writing a review; a TripAdvisor paste comes back as the listing itself, which is the destination the product stores for TripAdvisor too. Either way the link opens the review page for your business.

Can I send the link to only my happiest customers?

Google's rating manipulation policy lists selectively soliciting positive reviews among the things a business must not do, so send the same link to everyone you serve and take the answers you get.

Yelp is not asking for reviews. What is the rule there?

Yelp's content guidelines say plainly that businesses should never ask customers to write reviews. Use the Yelp link for a customer who has already decided to write one, and put your asking somewhere Yelp does not govern.

What happens after a review comes in?

That is where GetSetReply starts. It reads your new reviews, drafts a reply in a voice you pick, and hands the draft to you to edit and post yourself. Nothing is published on your behalf, and the trial runs 30 days without a card.

After the link

The link is the easy half

Answering what arrives is the half that takes an evening a week. GetSetReply drafts the reply and leaves the posting to you.
